A mass shooting near a Washington State music celebration Saturday night left a minimum of 2 individuals dead and 3 more hurt, authorities stated.
The suspect chance at one point “arbitrarily into the crowd,” at a camping site near the Gorge Amphitheater where the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music celebration was occurring, Kyle Foreman, a public details officer with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office informed a press conference.
Officers, he stated, reacted to a call at 8:23 p.m. regional time (11:23 p.m. ET) “to reports of shots fired into the crowd.”
“The shooter then left where the event occurred,” he stated. He included that after police moved into the location “he continued to arbitrarily shoot into the crowd and the suspect was ultimately apprehended.”
