Diddy pays Sting $5K every day for sample on Biggie memorial track

This ditty is costing Diddy huge time.

For tasting the Police’s 1983 track “Every Breath You Take” on the 1997 Biggie Smalls homage “I’ll Be Missing You,” music magnate Sean “Diddy” Combs is stated to be permanently indebted to songwriter Sting– to the tune of $5,000 a day.

“5k a day. Love to my sibling [Sting],” tweeted Diddy, 53, Wednesday, apparently validating his everlasting responsibility to the Police frontman.

Agents for neither Diddy nor Sting instantly reacted to The Post’s ask for a remark.

In his Twitter admission, Diddy, a native New Yorker, reposted a clip that included Sting, 71, talking about the continuous payment throughout a 2018 look on Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club.”

The tweet, which generated more than 7.6 million views, came as a correction to Sting informing the early morning program host Charlamagne tha God that Diddy needed to pay him $2,000 a day for co-opting his Grammy-winning hit.

The sample was utilized to honor the late Notorious B.I.G., who was assassinated at age 24 on March 9, 1997.

On Twitter, Diddy confessed that he pays Sting a large cost for tasting his 1983 classic.

Diddy’s tweet remained in reaction to a resurfaced clip of Sting verifying that the rap magnate pays him every day.

On the program, when asked if the Bad Boy magnate had actually genuinely consented to the costly royalties deal, Sting stated, “Yeah, for the rest of his life.”

For clearness, Charlamagne questioned, “Did he ask you for approval?,” to which Sting responded, “Yes, he did.”
