DHAKA, March 4 (Reuters) – At least 6 individuals were eliminated and a number of hurt on Saturday when a fire broke out following a surge at an oxygen plant in southeastern Bangladesh, authorities stated.
The death toll might increase as a rescue operation was continuous at the plant at Sitakunda, 40 km (25 miles) from the southeastern port city of Chittagong, they included.
It was not instantly clear what triggered the surge, a fire service authorities stated.
“Six bodies were recuperated from the website,” city government authorities Shahadat Hossain informed Reuters, including a rescue operation was continuing.
A substantial bang was heard which shook a location with a radius of as much as 2 kilometers, cops main Nayhanul Bari stated, estimating witnesses.
